The Candidate should:
a) have habilitation in humanities,
b) have extensive academic experience and important research results in the realm of Eastern European history, late nineteenth and early twentieth century, especially in the history of the former Grand Duchy of Lithuania political, social and ethnic relations in that period,
c) to confirm his or her experience in scholar teams’ work, as well as to present a research project or projects connected to the research profile of the Department of the XX-th Century History,
d) be experienced in edition of historical sources from the period of late nineteenth and early twentieth century history,
e) use effectively in his or her research at least Polish, English, Russian, and Belarusian languages.
The Candidates should deliver:
– copies of doctor and habilitation diplomas,
– information on academic achievements and bibliography of published works,
– a description of the proposed research project,
– a declaration that in case of winning the applied position, the Institute of History would be the main/the first job.
