The candidate should:
a) possess a degree of doctor habilitated;
b) possess a broad research experience as well as professional achievements within the field of intellectual history and history of 20th century historical science in all possible aspects, from the perspective both of history of historical thought and of social history of science; to have sound knowledge of recent methodological ideas concerning the study of the history of historiography; possess knowledge and skills necessary for the contextualisation of the Polish historiography within the broader, European and universal, intellectual trends;
c) be able to prove a meaningful experience in a research team work and present a research project fitting the profile of the Department of the History of Ideas and the History of Intelligentsia at the Tadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences;
d) know foreign languages in a level sufficient to conduct proposed researches.
The Candidates are requested to submit following documents*:
– the application letter addressed to the director of the Institute of History;
– curriculum vitae;
– a copy of PhD and habilitation diploma of the humanities;
– information about scientific achievements and the list of publications;
– description of the research project;
– a consent to be included in the number of employees who run research activities during the employment period (written declaration).
