A workshop for Graduate and Master students in History and Literature

What is intellectual history and how is it done? Are you writing a PhD with links to intellectual history and looking for opportunities to discuss your approach with more experienced colleagues? If so, we invite you to take part in this workshop on currents debates and approaches in intellectual history. After a successful start in 2022, this will be the second edition. The participants will be grouped in discussion panels led by senior scholars from the wide field of intellectual history and history of political thought. In the sessions, each participant will make a short presentation (10 min. max) in which they will present a central question or problem from their research project. After the presentations there will be response and discussion led by the panel chair. The workshop will be an occasion to meet up with fellow researchers working in related fields and with some influential international researchers.

What is expected of the participants?
- register before 1 September 2023 to the address: alaskowska@ihpanstary.aionline.dev,
- prepare a short presentation (10 min. max) in which you present a central question or problem in your project,
- present your talk and question and take part in the discussion on 15 September.
