Full Professor at the Department of the Social History of the 19th and 20th Centuries

The candidate must possess the title of full professor in humanities.

They must specialize in the research of social and cultural history of Jews and Polish-Jewish relationships in 19th and 20th centuries.

Experience of applying for research grants and participating in grant-funded research projects is essential.

The candidate should also have significant achievements in the field of education of young scholars.

They should present plans of research within the scope of the Department, including preparation of grant projects, education of young scholars and individual research project.

The candidate should declare his / her consent to be included in the number of employees conducting scientific activity during the period of employment.

The Candidates are requested to submit following documents*:
– the application letter addressed to the director of the Institute of History,
– curriculum vitae,
– copies of: (1) PhD diploma, (2) post-doctoral degree (“habilitation”) diploma, (3) full professorship diploma,
– information about scientific achievements and the list of publications,
– description of a planned research project,
– Candidate’s statement that if selected, the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences will be their primary employer,
– Declaration of consent to be included in the number of employees conducting scientific activity during the period of employment (link here).
