The Candidates should:
a) possess a degree of doctor habilitated of the humanities;
b) to be able to proof a meaningful research experience and research achievements within the scope of intellectual and social history of 18th and 19th Century Poland with a special respect to the territories of the Prussian partition and the Polish-German relations, especially from the perspective of the changing visions of the past and of the evolution of the historical thought;
c) possess a documented experience of collective work, and present a research project in accordance with the research profile of the Workshop of History of Ideas and History of Intelligentsia;
d) possess an experience in the study of historical thought in a broad context of intellectual and social history;
e) declare the consent for inclusion in the number of employees conducting scientific activity during the employment period.
The Candidates are requested to submit following documents*:
– the application letter addressed to the director of the Institute of History;
– curriculum vitae;
– a copy of PhD and habilitation diploma of the humanities;
– information about scientific achievements and the list of publications;
– description of the research project;
– Candidate’s statement that if selected, the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences will be their primary employer.
