Description: We invite applications for a full-time position in the Department of Medieval Studies. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor (Adjunct). Candidates should have publications and a reputation in the area of the Department’s research and should provide a planned research project (required for habilitation degree). Successful candidate will be also expected to cooperate with other members of the Department and participate in the research carried out in the Department.

Applicants must provide:

an application for employment addressed to the Director of the Tadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History of Polish Academy of Sciences*;
CV containing description of scientific achievements and bibliography;
a copy of the PhD diploma;
description of research project, including schedule and working plan;
declaration of the applicant that in case of a successful application, the Tadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History of Polish Academy of Sciences will be the main place of work;
the candidate should agree to be counted in the number of employees engaged in research activities during the period of employment, i.e., the number “N” for purposes of the algorithm for distributing base funds for activities required by the Polish law.
